Richard Morris

Richard Morris has a diverse background as a lawyer, banker, publisher and opera singer.  Since 1993 he has been chief executive of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. He was chairman of the Music Education Council for three years from 1998. He has also served on the National Music Education Forum and the Music Business Forum. Morris was on the board of the Council for Dance Education and Training from 1999 to 2004 and became a governor of Kent Music School in 2002 and then the Yehudi Menuhin School in 2004. He writes and speaks about music education.
