Shanghai Symphony Orchestra unveils a star-studded new season

Shanghai Symphony Orchestra announced a star-studded new 2025-26 music season from Sept 5 to July 3, consisting of 46 visiting artists’ performances, 22 orchestra concerts, seven chamber concerts, among others.

A string of internationally-recognized conductors will perform at the Shanghai Symphony Hall in the new season, such as Grammy-award winning JoAnn Falletta, Sir Andras Schiff, Charles Dutoit, Daniel Harding and Jaap van Zweden. Yu Long, artistic director of SSO, will conduct 10 concerts in the new season.
